Safeguarding

Promoting the safety and welfare of our students in our academy, our community and online.

Safeguarding is central to our work as an academy.

We are dedicated to providing a caring, positive, safe and stimulating environment that promotes the emotional, social, physical welfare and moral development of each individual child. Students are specifically taught about the potential risk and how to seek support through our CASH ( PSHE ) curriculum.

The Venture Virtues are central to our culture – we strive to develop a community which all members are ambitious, kind, neighbourly, resilient, respectful and responsible and work together as part of our team.

Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility: all staff, governors and volunteers will play their full part in keeping children safe;

Our students can report any safeguarding concerns electronically at anytime, whether during or outside of the school day, via the Big Red Button or [email protected]. Please not that we read emails Monday-Friday between 8am – 4pm during term time only.

A child-centered approach: a clear understanding of the needs and views of children.
