Communicating with parents is an important part of what we do, making sure you get the correct information about activities, events and things that really matter is something we care about.

We have recently transitioned from Parentmail to Arbor for messaging, payments, meals and trips. Over the coming months this will expand to parents evenings, behaviour and assessment as well meaning Arbor will become our one stop shop for parental communication.

You may have already had experience with Arbor with your child’s primary school. However if it is your first time using it, you need to go to  https://login.arbor.sc and click Forgot your password? to set up your password and access your account. 

Once you have logged into the web portal, you can download the Arbor Parent App from the Apple store or Playstore (whichever is the correct platform for your device) and use the same username and password to sign in. 

The app will eventually allow for two way communication through in app notifications so is a useful thing to have installed on your phone if possible.

I am not receiving message notifications when they are sent.

We might use 3 different methods of communication through Arbor. The majority of communication will come via in app notifications. You must have the app installed and have enabled push notifications to recieve these – otherwise it will email you instead. We may send longer messages such as letters or messages with attachments via email and in emergencies we may text. What does the attendance data mean?

For attendance data remember that we switched to Arbor partway through the academic year so some statistics recorded differently prior to switching over and may explain any incomplete data. This won’t be the case from September
