It is the time for Year 9 students to make their option choices!

In Key Stage 4 (Years 10 and 11), as well as studying the core subjects, students have the opportunity to specialise in subjects that interest and inspire them. Students will study 3 option subjects, one from each of the 3 option blocks: Block A, Block B and EBACC Block.

Throughout the process of choosing options, we would urge all students to consider very carefully which subjects they choose. Consider interests, passions, college course, career aspirations among other things while deciding. It is vital that all students discuss these decisions with their parents/carers as well as other friends and family, coming to the right decision for themselves.

Year 9 parent's evening is on Thursday 14th March 3pm - 7.30pm, which will be a fantastic opportunity to have further discussions with teachers. Please use the option booklet provided for pupils (and also found via the link below) for more information on the process and subjects.

The deadline for the Options Form to be completed is Friday 22nd March. The link to the from will be sent to all students after Thursday's parents evening.
